Mansfield Hall, a Burlington-based college assistance and residential program for students with learning challenges, mild autism, and other conditions, welcomed Jasmine Lamb as program director. As program director, Lamb oversees day-to-day operations of Mansfield Hall and works closely with staff to provide an integrated program of support to its resident college students.
Before joining Mansfield Hall, Lamb worked as director of student life for the Vermont Governor’s Institute on the Arts summer college preparatory program for nearly a decade. Previously, she ran a transition program for teenagers, worked as both a consultant and college instructor at a small career-focused college and counseled young adults in a residential treatment program. During the past ten years she also worked as a mediator, facilitator and interpersonal communication coach. Lamb received her bachelor’s degree in English and social sciences from Norwich University and holds a 500 hour certificate in mediation and conflict management from Woodbury College (now at Champlain College).
Mansfield Hall is a comprehensive college support program and residence for young adults who will benefit from a holistic approach to higher education and independent living. Our mission is to assist students with various disabilities to successfully earn a college degree, develop living skills, and begin a productive career and independent lifestyle.
