NG Advantage has welcomed Ken Pulido as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer. Ken comes to NG Advantage with over fifteen years of corporate finance experience focused solely on the energy and power sectors. Having worked for both financial institutions and in corporate energy firms, Ken has assisted companies in carrying out their strategic business plans by structuring and executing financings across the capital structure.
NG Advantage LLC delivers compressed natural gas (CNG) using its “virtual pipeline” of high–tech 40ft trailers to large energy users such as factories, paper mills, asphalt facilities, food processors and large hospitals or educational facilities that are NOT located on a gas pipeline. Customers pay 20-40% less in energy costs than when they were using fuel oil and emit 26% less CO2.
Prior to joining NG Advantage, Ken was the General Manager for Gestamp Biomass International where he had overall responsibility for the firm’s financial, operational and strategic activities in North America. Previous positions included being head of NewStar Financial’s (NASDAQ:NEWS) Energy Group where he structured and arranged debt financing for buyouts in the energy space, Director of Finance for Calpine Corporation (NYSE:CPN) and Vice President in BankBoston’s Energy and Utility group.
Ken’s education included a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine and an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
