Bank of Bennington recently added Justin P. Salem to its Board of Directors and the Board of Community Financial MHC

The Bank of Bennington recently announced that Justin P. Salem was added to its Board of Directors and the Board of Community Financial MHC.

Salem graduated from Mt. Anthony Union High School in 1986. He has Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies from the University of Notre Dame, a Bachelor of Science in Dentistry from the University of Illinois, and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Illinois. Dr. Salem has practiced in Bennington since 1995. He is a co-founder of Bright Smiles, a hospital based program at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center that provides dental care to children with extensive needs. Since its inception in 2008 he has actively participated in Project 31, a program which offers free dental care to low income community members.

James Horst, Chairman of the Board, said, “Dr. Salem’s education, experience and ties to the community made the selection process relatively easy this year.”

Salem resides in Bennington with his wife and three children.
