In September, John Forgit joined the Design department at The Vermont Teddy Bear Co. as the Creative Director. In this role he will be responsible for establishing, leading and directing the overarching creative strategy, guiding a team of graphic designers and copywriters. Prior to being apart of the Bear Crew, John was the Marketing Director for a Trade Show Exhibit and Kiosk/Retail design and marketing company.
Travis Lobdell joined The Vermont Teddy Bear Co.’s Information Technology department in September. As the Bear Crew’s new Application Support Specialist, Travis will provide application support for VTB employees and onsite contractors as well as participate in business application software implementation, maintenance and application support/troubleshooting for purchased and custom applications. Prior to joining VTB, Travis worked as a Technical Support Specialist for a biotechnology and medical equipment lab.
In September, Juan Barrena joined the Information Technology department at The Vermont Teddy Bear Co as the Junior Systems Administrator. In this role he will provide systems support for VTB employees and onsite contractors as well as manage the server, PC and network infrastructure and provide Tier 1 Help Desk support for PCs, phones, network accounts, printers, and applications. Prior to joining VTB, Juan worked as a Network Administrator for a computer services company.
Bryan Nye joined The Vermont Teddy Bear Co’s Facilities and Maintenance department in September. As the Bear Crew’s new Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor, Bryan is responsible for the maintenance of the physical plant, grounds and equipment. Prior to joining VTB, Bryan was the Assistant Director of Facilities Maintenance at a university.
