Adam Goudreau joins VHB as a structural engineer in the growing transportation engineering group in Vermont

Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc. (VHB) announces that Adam Goudreau has joined the firm as a Structural Engineer in the Transportation Engineering group.

Mr. Goudreau will work to further enhance the firm’s growing Vermont office, providing a variety of services for steel design, reinforced concrete design, bridge load ratings and inspections, and structural dynamics. He is currently working on several bridge projects for the Vermont Agency of Transportation, including bridges in Guilford, Rochester, Brattleboro and Ludlow.

Mr. Goudreau received his bachelors of science degree in civil engineering from the University of New Hampshire at Durham in 2011, and is currently working towards his master’s in civil engineering, with a focus on structures, from UNH. While at UNH, Mr. Goudreau worked as a research assistant, where his research topic, used for his master’s thesis, was on utilizing digital image correlation as an investigative tool for bridge structures. Mr. Goudreau brings a wide range of civil engineering and field experience to his new role.

Mr. Goudreau lives in Essex, where he enjoys playing volleyball and basketball. He is a hobby gardener, and looks forward to duck hunting on Lake Champlain.
