Sara Holbrook Community Center announces appointment of officers to their board of directors

The Sara Holbrook Community Center (SHCC) announced recently the appointment of officers to their board of directors.

Sara Holbrook Community Center (SHCC) held its Annual Board of Directors meeting, where all directors nominated for another term were elected with full support of the board. The Board of Directors Roster is as follows:

The Sara Holbrook Community Center was established in 1937 by University of Vermont clinical psychologist, Sara Holbrook. Since its inception, the Center has been providing support and programs for low-income children and their families. Annually, 4000 individuals, including refugees and immigrants, take part in the Center’s programs: preschool, after school care for elementary school students, elementary school-age summer camp, teen drop-in, youth adventure camp, year-round middle school enrichment classes, English classes for adults and children, and emergency food assistance. The Center has two locations- 66 North Ave in the Old North End of Burlington and 130 Gosse Court in the New North End of Burlington. All the Center's programs are free or low-cost.
