Medical director and founder of Biologic Integrative Healthcare (BIH), Dr. Samantha K. Eagle, is pleased to announce the addition of Drs. Liz Kaltman and Jody E. Noé to the practice. BIH is a multidisciplinary group of naturopathic and medical doctors, and other practitioners, providing family care with a comprehensive approach to restoring and maintaining health.
Dr. Kaltman is a board-certified, licensed naturopathic physician, epidemiologist and public health consultant. She has worked in the healthcare field for over 20 years. At BIH, Dr. Kaltman serves as a primary care provider with a focus on preventative medicine. She treats both acute and chronic conditions, combining conventional and complimentary modalities. Her specialties include reproductive health, menopause, endocrinology, cardiometabolic disease, nutrition and functional medicine. A particular interest is working with women during peri-menopausal years to optimize their health during this transition.
Dr. Kaltman received her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon and her Masters in Public Health from the University of California at Berkeley. She earned the credential of Certified Menopause Practitioner from the prestigious North American Menopause Society. She is also the founder of the forthcoming food and nutrition blog, The Nourishing Table. Dr. Kaltman is fluent in Spanish and happy to work with Spanish-speaking patients.
Dr. Noé obtained her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University, Seattle, Washington. Dr. Noé provides the following services: naturopathic obstetrics and gynecology, botanical medicine, homeopathy, nutritional medicine, diet and lifestyle counseling, physical medicine, and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr. Noé is also an ethnobotanist, specifically educated in Cherokee Medicine. She has studied extensively with both the Eastern and Western Bands of the Cherokee Nation. In addition to family care, her specialty areas are chronic disease, cancer and HIV. Dr. Noé has been in practice for more than 15 years.
Dr. Noé is currently an assistant professor at the College of Naturopathic Medicine, University of Bridgeport, Connecticut, teaching both basic and clinical sciences. She is president emeritus of the Vermont and Oklahoma Associations of Naturopathic Physicians, a former board member of the Fiddleheads Food Cooperative (New London, CT) and a founding member of the Botanical Medicine Academy. Dr. Noé recently authored a book, titled Naturopathic Integrative Oncology, published by CCNM Press, to be used as a textbook in the Naturopathic and Integrative Medical school curricula.
Biologic Integrative Healthcare recently expanded their facilities to include the Biologic Wellness Center (BWC), a tranquil venue in the same building, separate from the practitioners’ office suite. It hosts a variety of workshops, lectures and ongoing sessions focused on wellness and lifestyle. Current programs include yoga, meditation, weight loss and nutrition. Biologic Integrative Healthcare is located in downtown Brattleboro at 205 Main Street.
