Waterbury Tourism Council Announces New Board of Directors

The Waterbury Tourism Council elected its new Board of Directors at its Annual meeting which was held at Maxi’s Restaurant, Wednesday January 30. The newly elected Directors have resolved to continue to develop the initiative to expand its membership and promote the community of Waterbury to visitors. Members of the Waterbury Tourism Council (WTC) include lodging, restaurants, shops, tourist attractions and other businesses that provide services to tourists or WTC members.

Membership benefits include:

• A listing on the Waterbury Tourism Council’s website www.waterbury.org

• Placement of business literature in the WTC Information booth on Route 100 next to the Sunoco station

• Business leads through website inquiries

• Opportunity to showcase your business by hosting a monthly meeting

• Group fuel discount on propane and heating oil

• Optional inclusion in various marketing publications, including the Waterbury Lodging Guide, Dining and Shopping Guide and the Waterbury Passport Coupon Booklet.
