Chris Herriman joins SBA in Vermont

Darcy Carter, District Director, welcomes Chris Herriman as an Economic Development Specialist with the U.S. Small Business Administration in the Vermont District Office. Chris is responsible for conducting outreach, training and education to various organizations and small businesses on SBA programs and services.

Chris brings with her twenty five years of experience in Banking, Financial Marketing, and Small Business ownership. Chris was a Market Manager and commercial lender for Chittenden Bank for five years, and comes to us from the Vermont Small Business Development Center (VtSBDC) where she provided small business counseling and served as program manager for their Veteran and Service members program. Chris also worked with the Vermont Procurement Technical Assistance Center (VTPTAC) assisting small businesses enter government contracting markets. Chris moved to Vermont from California, where she was Director of Local Marketing for CalFed Bank in San Francisco. Chris and her husband also own a small business in Central Vermont.
