Three Wilmington residents honored with merit award from the American Institute of Architects, Vermont Chapter.

Three Wilmington residents were recently honored with a Merit Award from the American Institute of Architects, Vermont Chapter. Architect Joseph Cincotta, Contractor Larry Mill and Finish Carpenter Ronnie Poplar all received certificates for their work on the LineSync Architecture Studio and Offices in an award ceremony at the Vermont Statehouse.

Specific comments from the jury include:

• This little studio has richness that is appealing.

• All jurors were in agreement on the merits of this building. It struck us as being very sophisticated in its interior details.

• It is an example of the carpenter ants eating the original building and then the architects regrouping and reusing the original materials in a clever way.

Special Thanks to Brattleboro native and Senior Designer Adam Lemire, for the final Jury comment: The presentation in the project portfolio was terrific!
