Small Dog Electronics is pleased to announce the hiring of Matt Curran as assistant controller, working with the chief financial officer. Prior to joining Small Dog earlier this summer, Matt served as a Senior Auditor at Stowe and Degon, LLC of Westboro, Massachusetts.
Curran received his Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting with a minor in finance from Assumption College in Worchester, Massachusetts in 2006. After graduation Matt continued his education at Assumption, earning his Master of Business Administration in 2012.
“I am excited to welcome Matt as my right hand man,” said Hapy Mayer, CFO and co-founder of Small Dog Electronics. “He’s an intelligent guy that brings energy and excitement to the company. His work will play an important role in our business as we continue to grow.”
During his undergraduate education at Assumption College, Matt played defensive tackle for all four years with the Greyhounds, a Division II football team in the Northeast-10 Conference.
Curran currently resides in Middlebury with his wife Megan and son, Teddy.
