This July, Lund welcomed Stephanie Lemay to the Development team. Excited about her new position, she looks forward to crafting The Raiser’s Edge database into a supportive tool that will inform and guide Lund’s fundraising strategy. “I enjoy behind-the-scenes development work,” she says. “I’m delighted to be here, and to have the opportunity to learn from my new colleagues and our clients. I love details and organization so this position really plays to my strengths.” What drew her to Lund? “The mission,” she says. “Lund excels at creating and supporting strong families by advocating for the well-being of all children. This resonates with me.”
Stephanie joins Lund after five years at the Committee on Temporary Shelter (COTS). Her recent work at COTS involved grants management and writing, in-kind donation coordination, and gift processing. She grew up in Rochester, New York, and holds degrees in art and design and library science from Alfred University and the University at Buffalo.
With more than 122 years of experience strengthening families, Lund annually serves more than 5,000 children and family members. Lund’s work focuses on three goals: strengthening families, reducing child abuse and neglect, and helping to create new families through adoption. Its mission is to help children thrive by serving families with children, pregnant or parenting teens and young adults, and adoptive families.
