Gov. Peter Shumlin announced today the appointment of Jeffrey Kilgore to replace Judge George Belcher to the Probate Division of the Washington Unit of the Superior Court.
“Jeff has solid experience in probate issues and an extensive legal career,” Gov. Shumlin said. “That experience, as well as his knowledge of county government, make him an asset to the bench.”

He has been an adjunct professor at Vermont Law School, an Associate Professor of Business and Economics at Norwich University, and Special Counsel to the Department of Public Service.
