NBT Bank Regional President Matt Durkee announced that Christopher Quintin has been promoted to vice president.
Quintin is market manager for NBT Financial Group, a division of NBT Bank, that provides services related to trust, investments, insurance and retirement. The group manages and administers assets of approximately $3.9 billion. He is based in the bank’s regional office at 150 Bank Street in Burlington, Vt.
“Christopher Quintin has made a significant contribution to the success of our company through consistently exceptional performance,” Durkee said. “He has emerged as a leader within his division by keeping the success of our clients and the company at the forefront. I want to congratulate him on his promotion and wish him continued success.”
Quintin has 15 years of financial services experience. Before joining NBT Financial Group, he was a financial advisor for TD Bank in northern Vermont for five years. Prior to this, he was an investment advisor at Burlington-based Chittenden Bank, where he worked for eight years. He is a native of Burlington and has a degree in business management from Champlain College. He holds several securities registrations and a life insurance license (his securities registrations are held with LPL Financial). He also holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) designation from the College for Financial Planning.
