MISys hires Nelson Rooker as director of software development

Manufacturing Information Systems, Inc. (MISys) of Woodstock, Vermont announced today the appointment of Nelson Rooker to the post of Director, Software Development.

“We were very fortunate to find someone with Nelson’s skills right in our backyard,” said Dave Brown, CEO and President of MISys. “He has extensive project and product management experience in the software field and has a fresh perspective that will help MISys adapt to the dynamic world of software development.”

Nelson Rooker formerly worked for Alcara Software for 13 years. He and his wife live in Hartland, Vermont with their two children.
