Keith Pillsbury was unanimously re-elected as the Burlington School Board Chair at the April 1st, 2012 Commissioner's Meeting. Commissioner Pillsbury has served on the Board since 1987. In his acceptance speech, he noted "I appreciate the Board’s vote of confidence. I pledge to you that I will do my best to lead the Board in ensuring that every child is given the opportunity to meet their full potential." Pillsbury also spoke to upcoming District priorities, including the development of a strategic plan for Diversity & Equity, the technology initiative at the middle and high school levels, and multi-year fiscal and capital improvement strategies with the engagement of the community.
