People’s United Bank announced today that Peter Jones has been promoted to Senior Commercial Relationship Manager, SVP at People’s United Bank in Vermont.
Jones began his banking career in 1988, with Chittenden Bank. He has also held positions with VEDA and Union Bank. In 2009, Jones again joined People’s United Bank as a Commercial Relationship Manager, Vice President. He works out of the Burlington office and serves commercial banking customers in the Northern part of the State.
Jones is a graduate of Johnson State College with a degree in business administration and is a graduate of ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
Jones lives in Morrisville and is an active member of his community. He currently serves as a member of the Burlington Rotary Club and he is the Chair of the Morristown School Board. Jones is the past Chair of the Lamoille Economic Development Corporation.
