Heather Roszkowski named chief information security officer

Heather Roszkowski of Waterbury has been selected to lead Fletcher Allen’s information security (IS) operations.

Ms. Roszkowski was most recently a director of Information Technology & Communications in Fort Bliss, Texas. During her eleven-year Army career she was assigned as a signal officer and held multiple leadership roles in Information Technology and IS. She served more than two years in Iraq, where she was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for outstanding leadership, communications support, and information security in combat.

As chief information security officer she will be responsible for enhancing Fletcher Allen’s efforts to ensure all electronic health records and other information assets are sufficiently protected.

Ms. Roszkowski has also been an Army ROTC instructor at Norwich University from where she earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Information Systems and Business Administration, and a Master of Science in Information Assurance.

She will continue her military service as a member of the Vermont Army National Guard.
