MyWebGrocer announces six new hires

In the month of December MyWebGrocer added six new members to their team, bringing the total of new employees hired in the fourth quarter of 2011 to 23. The new employees joined the departments of software engineering, advertising operations, retail operations, system analysts, search engine optimization and project coordination.

Ahmed Hamed joins MyWebGrocer as a software engineer. Mr. Hamed was born in Cairo, Egypt and has lived in the United States since 1997. He brings 15 years of software engineering and research experience to the position, and enjoys spending time with his four-year-old daughter, Laila.

John Cisar will act as a search content specialist for MyWebGrocer. Mr. Cisar was born in St. Albans, Vermont and obtained two degrees from Champlain College. Like a true Vermonter, his favorite winter activities include snowshoeing and winter photography.

MyWebGrocer welcomes Ripley Harrison as a retail account manager. Mr. Harrison attended the University of Vermont for both his undergraduate and masters degrees. After graduation, he left Vermont for a few years and headed west to Manhattan Beach, California where he picked up surfing. He is happy to be back in Vermont, where he’s traded in his surfboard for skis.

Jonathan Hoguet will act as a software engineer for MyWebGrocer. Mr. Houguet attended Texas A&M University where he was part of the ROTC program and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2008. After graduation, he went on to serve for the U.S. Army in Kuwait and Iraq.

Rachel Smith joins MyWebGrocer as a senior advertising operations analyst. Ms. Smith grew up in Essex, Vermont and graduated from the University of Vermont in 2006. She currently lives in Williston with her husband, dog and cat, and enjoys teaching Zumba Fitness classes in her spare time.

MyWebGrocer welcomes Tom Cardosi as a systems analyst and project coordinator. Mr. Cardosi attended Framingham State College of Massachusetts where he double majored in business administration and philosophy. He previously worked for GE Healthcare for eight years as a systems engineer. He currently resides in Underhill, Vermont and spends his weekends training for his next marathon.
