Local attorney receives certification in elder law

The National Elder Law Foundation (NELF) – the only organization approved by the American Bar Association to offer certification in the area of elder law - has announced that Glenn A. Jarrett, Esq. of Burlington, Vermont has successfully completed its examination leading to such certification.

Certification in elder law – one of the fastest growing fields in the legal profession – will provide a measure of assurance to the public that the attorney has an in-depth working knowledge of the legal issues that impact the elderly.

Glenn A. Jarrett, Esq. of the Jarrett Law Office, PLC in South Burlington, Vermont is now a Certified Elder Law Attorney. Glenn has practiced law for over 35 years and has focused his practice since 2001 on the many aspects of elder law and estate planning, including wills, trusts, Medicaid planning, special needs planning, guardianship, advanced planning, probate and trust administration. Glenn is an honors graduate of Middlebury College and received his J.D. degree from Georgetown University Law Center. He is also a certified financial planner™ practitioner. Glenn has been a resident of Burlington for 25 years.
