Dr. Traci Griffith, Saint Michael’s College Associate Professor of Media Studies, Journalism and Digital Arts, and a resident of Williston, was elected to be vice-president of the Vermont chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union, and was appointed by Governor Shumlin to serve on the Vermont Humanities Council. Professor Griffith also serves on the board of Vermont Public Radio.
Professor Griffith will be speaking about media representations of Martin Luther King Jr. and the issue of race, at the city of Burlington speak out on Martin Luther King Day, Monday, January 16th.
