Flat Fee Real Estate hires Gerald Cohen as Brattleboro area agent

Flat Fee Real Estate is pleased to announce Gerald Cohen is now representing the company as a certified agent in the Brattleboro, Vermont area. Burlington-based Flat Fee Real Estate is a full-service real estate brokerage firm which aims to save clients money by charging $3,500 or two percent of the home’s selling price, whichever is less, as opposed to the traditional six percent commission. Cohen joins Flat Fee Real Estate from his position at Vermont Associates as a training and development coordinator.

Gerry’s experience in different aspects of the real estate industry makes him a great fit for Flat Fee, where we take a progressive approach to real estate with the bottom line of saving our clients money,” said Robert Foley, owner of Flat Fee Real Estate. “We are eager to have his help to offer Flat Fee’s services to buyers and sellers in the Brattleboro area.”

Cohen’s career in real estate began in Manhattan where he worked as a property manager, which led to involvement in all aspects of the real estate transaction process. He has served on the New York City Board of Realtors and the Industrial Board of Realtors for the Westside of Manhattan. Also in New York City, Cohen worked for two real estate firms in management roles. In Brattleboro, he has served on the Build a Better Brattleboro committee for the River Garden project. He recently attended the NYU School of Real Estate to earn his certification as a licensed Vermont Real Estate Broker.
