Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc. announces that Bob Klinefelter has been promoted from Staff Engineer to Project Engineer in the firm’s North Ferrisburgh, Vt. office.
With a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Vermont, Mr. Klinefelter has professional experience in numerous civil engineering categories with a focus on bridge and roadway design, land surveying, construction inspection, and overall project coordination. Mr. Klinefelter joined VHB in March of 2009 and has excelled in supporting multiple projects throughout the state involving survey and civil, structural, and highway engineering for bridges, culverts, and roadways.
For the last two months, Mr. Klinefelter has worked tirelessly in VHB’s emergency field office in Bethel to provide engineering efforts in response to the widespread devastation caused by Tropical Storm Irene. His presence has been virtually non-stop, supporting the reconstruction of 10 miles of VT Route 107 as well as several municipal town highway and bridge projects in Stockbridge and Bethel. In these recent efforts, he has provided continuous on-site support involving everything from leading survey teams to CADD support to final design, quantity calculations, construction inspection, and overall coordination of field office logistics. Bob has quickly proven himself to be a valuable asset to the firm and is looked upon as one of our brightest young engineers.
