Eileen Townsend, a top producing real estate agent in Greater Burlington and Chittenden County, offers more than 20 years of expertise in marketing, communications and business management — a solid skillset for success in today’s competitive real estate environment. For the past 10 years, Eileen’s real estate clients have benefited from personal experience in executive relocation, through which she moved seven times with her family, coast-to-coast and back again, buying and selling real estate in six states, including historic property, new and custom construction, condos and townhouses, and “renovator specials.”
“Whether you’re moving up, moving out, or even reluctantly moving on, whatever your concerns are, I’ve been there,” Eileen says. “It is a personal goal of mine to draw upon my experience to help people anticipate the challenges and make the best of the process of moving — from achieving their financial goals to making the many connections it takes to resettle a family in a new community.”
Eileen has been honored for her professionalism and customer service with numerous achievement awards. She holds a Broker’s License, is an Accredited Buyer Representative, and has earned the CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation, held by just five percent of Realtors nationally, who have attained stringent production and educational goals.
Embracing the value of giving back to the community, Eileen is actively involved with organizations that strengthen Greater Burlington’s business and arts communities and humanitarian efforts. She is a 2004 graduate of the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce (LCRCC) “Leadership Champlain” program, and currently serves on the Burlington Business Association’s Programs Committee, the Champlain Housing Trust’s Legacy Campaign Committee, and the Vermont Symphony Orchestra’s premier benefit event, Waltz Night.
Eileen was previously the Director of Marketing and Communications for Saint Michael’s College, a position she also held at Dominican University of California. She has experience in corporate and agency public relations and marketing, and in newspaper and magazine journalism, in Washington, D.C.; Baltimore, MD; Rockford, Illinois; the San Francisco Bay Area; Des Moines, Iowa; Wilmington, Delaware; and here in Vermont. She was raised in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area where she was educated at Stone Ridge Country Day School.
