Stephanie J. Mapes elected to the ICCIE Board of Directors

Paul Frank + Collins Member and Captive Insurance Group lawyer Stephanie J. Mapes was elected to the International Center for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE) Board of Directors at the ICCIE annual meeting held last month. The ICCIE organization was founded in 2001 to develop and educate qualified professionals in order to sustain and grow the captive insurance industry. As a member of this elite Board, Attorney Mapes will be part of the Curriculum Committee, which is responsible for collaborating with the University of Vermont to develop course content for ICCIE that reflects the highest standards of education. Mapes is currently part of the ICCIE faculty and teaches a Risk Retention Group class. She is scheduled to present a special RRG class during the National Risk Retention Association Conference in Washington, D.C. this fall.

Ms. Mapes’ captive insurance practice involves advising clients on pure and association captives, risk retention groups, reciprocal captives and other insurance arrangements with respect to tax, regulatory and legal repercussions or transaction, entity structures, contract negotiations, and insurance programs. PF+C employs six lawyers in its Captive Insurance Group.
