Citizens Bank has hired MaryBeth DeFalco as business banking officer in the Upper Valley and Rutland/West markets in New Hampshire and Vermont. She is responsible for overseeing the development of new and existing relationships with business customers, consulting with business owners to identify banking needs and working with business banking officers and branch staff to provide quality customer service. Her market area includes the towns of Lebanon, West Lebanon, and Hanover, N.H., and White River Junction, Woodstock, Rutland, Castleton, West Pawlet, and Poultney,Vt.
DeFalco has more than 15 years of experience in banking, operations, business development and sales. Prior to Citizens, she most recently served as vice president, branch manager for TD Bank in Woodstock, Vt. She also held positions of certified consumer lender, mortgage originator and business banking officer while at TD Bank. In addition, her past work experiences include director of resident services at Southgate in Shrewsbury, Mass., and senior bank paralegal at the firm of Baron, Campbell and Trifilo, LLP in Worcester, Mass. DeFalco is a graduate of Becker College in Worcester, Mass., with an associate’s degree, and bachelor’s degree concentration, in legal studies and business administration. She is on the board of directors of the Woodstock Area Chamber of Commerce and the Woodstock Recreation Center as secretary, and volunteers as a member of the Woodstock Community Impact Committee for the United Way of the Upper Valley. DeFalco lives in Woodstock, Vt.
