Scott Smith recently joined The Vermont Teddy Bear Company as their CFO. Prior to his role at the Vermont Teddy Bear Company, Mr. Smith served as CFO for Heritage Aviation, Inc., a diversified aviation services company based at Burlington International Airport. Before joining Heritage Aviation, Mr. Smith was CFO of Hubbardton Forge LLC, a high-end residential and commercial lighting manufacturer based in the U.S.A. Mr. Smith worked at Hubbardton Forge for over six years and was originally hired as their Controller. During the previous ten year span, Mr. Smith had assumed various financial management and analyst positions within the Finance and Treasury Departments of Fab-Tech, Inc., Burton Snowboards, and American Skiing Company. Fab-Tech, Inc. is a global semiconductor equipment manufacturer. Burton Snowboards is the leading international designer and manufacturer of snowboarding equipment, apparel, and accessories. American Skiing Company was one of North America’s largest four season resort operators. Mr. Smith earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (cum laude) with a concentration in finance from Plymouth State University.
