The Northwestern Vermont Board of REALTORS® (NVBR) has named Jan Battaline as their 2011 Good Neighbor Award recipient.
“REALTORS® pride themselves in their community involvement and in working to improve the quality of life in their neighborhoods,” said Kathleen Sweeten, NVBR executive vice president. “This award recognizes a REALTOR® who has made an extraordinary commitment to improving the quality of life in their communities through volunteer work.”
The award is modeled after the prestigious Good Neighbor Award presented by the National Association of REALTORS® and the Vermont Association of REALTORS®. As winner of NVBR’s Good Neighbor Award, Louise will be entered into both the state and national awards programs as a nominee this year.
Jan is a REALTOR® with RE/MAX North Professionals in Colchester. She is former chairperson of NVBR’s Community Service Committee. She has been instrumental in the development of community service projects with organizations such as the Vermont Refugee Resettlement Program, COTS, Meals on Wheels, among others.
