NVBR honors its 2011 Rookie of the Year

Cindy Volk of Coldwell Banker Hickok and Boardman, has been named the 2011 Rookie of the Year by the Northwestern Vermont Board of REALTORS® (NVBR). This award is presented to a REALTOR® who has been in the real estate profession for less than two years, and who has demonstrated enthusiasm, leadership and professionalism in their career and their community.

“Cindy’s enthusiasm for the real estate profession is evident on many levels,” said Kathleen Sweeten, NVBR executive vice president. “Her positive attitude and knowledge of new strategies and technology is very impressive.” In the two years since becoming a REALTOR®, Cindy has earned the ABR and Green designations, and has completed certifications for e-Pro and the Short Sales and Foreclosure Specialists.

Cindy currently serves on the NVBR Young Professionals Network, part of a national program that helps young REALTORS® develop their skills, and grow as professionals through education and networking.

In addition to being a REALTOR®, Cindy is committed to serving her community. She volunteers at school events and has supported the Franklin County Habitat for Humanity and Northern Greyhound Adoptions.
