Sara Blum, President of PostScript, Inc., the Burlington-based marketing and public relations firm, announced today the promotion of Lauren Schechter to Account Manager. Schechter’s primary responsibilities include the development, maintenance and retention of relationships with PostScript clients.
Ms. Schechter’s responsibilities will also include client interactions, strategic consulting, and directing and coaching internal resources for the successful deployment of a variety of marketing tactics. These will include campaign development; email marketing; advertisements; website development, enhancement and integration of client sites with current campaigns, public relations, event marketing, search engine and social media marketing initiatives, and many other marketing tactics.
Schechter has been with PostScript for four years in the capacity of Production Manager with account management responsibilities, as well as supporting other marketing and event coordination. Originally from Netanya, Israel, Schechter relocated to the states from Israel at the age of 16 with her parents and twin sister. She currently lives inBurlington.
Schechter’s undergraduate studies at the University of Vermont’s Business School were concentrated in marketing and completed in 2005. She is currently a graduate student at Saint Michaels College, anticipating receipt of her Master of Science Degree in Business Administration in May 2011.
