Following up on a hugely successful 2010 Anniversary Season- The Dorset Theatre Festival has just completed an extensive search for a new Business Manager to join the team of Dina Janis- Artistic Director and Michael Giannitti- Producing Director and is pleased to announce the appointment of Kit Wallace as Business Manager effective for the 2011 season. A resident of Dorset with long family ties to this community, Kit has most recently served as Interim Executive Director and Director of Development at Smokey House Center in Danby. Currently she is the President of the Dorset Hollow Corporation, a land conservation and development entity.
Kit brings a wealth of knowledge of financial operations as well as skills in research and grant writing acquired through prior experience as Business Manager at The Miquon School in Conshohocken, PA. She also worked on environmental issues and served as Woodlands Manager of the campus. In addition, as co-owner and Treasurer of Expert Information Systems in Philadelphia, Kit has extensive experience in research, writing, and administration.
Kit earned her BS cum laude in Combined Sciences: Forestry and Biology at Yale College, and then went on to earn a Master of Regional Planning at the University of Pennsylvania while working as a teaching assistant.
