Bill Young, Executive Director of Maple Leaf Farm is pleased to announce the
promotion of Lissa Carlino to Addictions Treatment Counselor. Lissa has an
undergraduate degree in psychology and is currently enrolled in Johnson
State College's Clinical Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counseling
graduate program. Originally from Minnesota, she brings experience working
with sexual assault survivors, developmentally disabled individuals, and as
an elementary school teaching assistant. Lissa resides in Richmond.
Maple Leaf Farm is a 41-bed residential substance abuse treatment center
licensed by the State of Vermont and is nationally accredited by the
Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Last
year, 764 patients spent 12,781 days at Maple Leaf Farm. In the last five
years, over 3,800 men and women from every walk of life throughout Vermont,
New Hampshire and Massachusetts have addressed their substance abuse in the
