Bill Magnus Joins Keller Williams Realty Green Mountain Properties

Bill Magnus, a Real Estate Sales Professional servicing Franklin, Grand Isle and Chittenden Counties, has joined Keller Williams Realty Green Mountain Properties.

Bill Magnus grew up in Colchester, was schooled in Burlington and has a BS from UVM in Business Administration. A Marine veteran with combat duty in Vietnam, Bill has great life experience to bring to the table. He earned his Agent’s license in 2005, his Broker’s license in 2008 and several designations on the way including the coveted CRS, Certified Residential Specialist designation held by fewer than 5% of the agents in the USA. He also earned the ABR, Accredited Buyer Representative, Green, and e-PRO designations, in an effort to best serve his clients and customers. In service to the community he has served on the zoning board of adjustment and chaired the planning commission in the town of Swanton. His enthusiasm for Lake Champlain prompted the Friends of Northern Lake Champlain to ask him to serve on their board. He has also been recently nominated to the Northwestern Vermont Board of Realtors.

He has owned properties in Franklin and Grand Isle Counties, both residential and multi-families (a landlord for 25 yrs.), and has lived on Lake Champlain most of his life between Shelburne Bay and the Straits of Alburgh where he lives now.

Outdoor Vermont is also his passion and is where you will find him when time permits, skiing, sailing, biking and playing tennis. Bill says, “Vermont is a great place to live, enjoy and that is why I am here”.

“We are truly lucky to have Bill Magnus join us here at Keller Williams Green Mountain Properties,” says team leader Brian Armstrong. “Keller Williams Realty offers its associates unparalleled career growth and learning opportunities in the real estate industry. We know that Bill will be a great fit and we are excited that he has chosen our office to hang his license.”

“I chose Keller Williams Realty because of its reputation for integrity and its Agent-centric business model,” says Bill. “I want to continue to grow my real estate business and assist my clients utilizing all resources possible. Keller Williams Realty provides the training and technology that will help me reach my goals.”

Keller Williams Realty has put its mark on the real estate industry by offering comprehensive educational resources and technological tools. These advantages, coupled with additional benefits such as profit sharing, have attracted some of the most talented owners, brokers, and agents in the business. With these tools and benefits, the company has continued to grow despite the well-publicized turmoil in the real estate industry, and in 2009 became the 3rd largest real estate company in the U.S., surpassing RE/MAX.

Additionally, in 2008, 2009 and 2010 Keller Williams Realty received the highest overall satisfaction ratings from home buyers among the largest full service real estate firms from J.D. Power and Associates for the third year in a row.
