Attorney Fox presenter at National Business Institute Advanced Issues and Answers Seminar

Richard J. Fox, a practicing attorney in the law firm Unsworth & Barra PLC, in Essex Junction, recently presented at the National Business Institute’s seminar: Advanced Issues and Answers. Richard presented on the subject of “Title Law”, to a class of attorneys and paralegals from throughout the State of Vermont.

Richard J. Fox is an attorney with Unsworth & Barra PLC, and ABX Title. His practice focuses on real estate, landlord/tenant, civil litigation and construction law. Richard graduated from Rutgers College with a B.A. in English, History, and Political Science, and received his Juris Doctorate from The George Washington University Law School.

Richard is admitted to practice law in both Vermont and Massachusetts, and also before the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. He is a member of the Vermont Bar Association and is an agent for Vermont Attorneys Title Insurance Corporation and Chicago Title Insurance Company.

Richard has lectured on public contracting and construction law issues for construction professionals in Massachusetts and presented seminars on title insurance and real estate law for attorneys and paralegals throughout Vermont. Richard is a Vermont native and currently resides in Shelburne, where he volunteers as an EMT with Shelburne Rescue and as a leader with Shelburne Cub Scout Pack 607. Richard also volunteers as an attorney with the Vermont Bar Association’s Military Family Law Project.
