Paul Frank + Collins is pleased to announce that Jeff Wutzke has joined the firm as Of Counsel to head the firm's Property & Development team, and to work with its Energy and Environmental Law team. Mr. Wutzke returns to New England after a dozen years in California and the Southwest, where his practice focused on sophisticated real estate transactions and commercial finance. Notable past projects have ranged from a “Rosie the Riveter” World War II memorial near San Francisco to a $500,000,000 intermodal transit facility, complementing his interest in achieving successful transactions without forgetting the importance of historic preservation and sustainable development.
Before joining PF+C, Mr. Wutzke was a partner at Lewis & Roca LLP in Phoenix, Arizona, and previously worked at Latham & Watkins in San Francisco on power generation facilities and other secured lending work. His diverse experience includes acquisitions and sales of commercial, retail, industrial, and multi-family residential properties as well as structuring and pursuing development transactions, and his finance practice emphasizes structural and security aspects of commercial lending work whether representing lenders, participant banks, borrowers, guarantors or equity investors.
PF+C Shareholder, Mark Hall said, "Jeff has stellar qualifications and lead attorney experience in sophisticated real estate matters at a national level. The Property & Development Group at Paul Frank + Collins PC is very excited to have Jeff join the practice."
Mr. Wutzke received his J.D. from University of Virginia School of Law in 1998, where he was Executive Editor of the Virginia Law Review. He has a B.A. in History from Dartmouth College, and a M.S. in Wildland Resource Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
