Larry Sudbay, President and Chief Executive Officer of SymQuest® Group, announced that Jon Pratt, Field Support Engineer, has successfully completed the Hewlett Packard (HP) Authorized Platform Specialist (APS) certification process. This certification is required for SymQuest to maintain its status as an HP Authorized Service Provider (APS). As an HP APS, SymQuest can perform warranty work for HP servers that other service providers without certification cannot offer.
The APS certification has become a global standard. Requirements include the CompTIA Server+ certification, as well as completion of a series of HP examinations covering a broad base of subjects, including troubleshooting and diagnostic utilities, features, component layout and service considerations for ML/DL ProLiant Server Solutions.
“This certification is extremely challenging,” Sudbay stated. “We are very proud to support Jon in his pursuit of this level of professionalism and of his abilities to meet and exceed our client’s needs. We are proud to offer the best service experience possible, and staff members like Jon keep our team right along the edge of technology and right beside our clients evolving requirements."
