Stratton’s Golf University is proud to announce the addition of Jerry Elwell to its staff for the 2010 season.
“We are very pleased to have Jerry join our staff,” said Robin Rasch, Director of Stratton Golf University. “He is a respected and accomplished teacher in the golf industry, a mentor to many, and dedicated to each student.”
Elwell brings over four decades of experience to the Golf U staff including work with Major Championship winners Ernie Els, John Daly, Bill Rogers and Stephen Ames. He has also worked with Hall of Fame members Nancy Lopez, Gary Player, Chi Chi Rodriguez and Billy Casper.
A five time nominee for PGA National Teacher of the Year, Elwell has set course records at 14 different locations including Spyglass Hill, Chula Vista Golf Course, Bonneville Golf Course and the Riverside Country Club. He has also served on PGA Magazine’s Advisory Board, was the first PGA Teaching Professional to have an instructional CD-ROM and served on two national PGA Committees.
