The Sheraton Burlington Hotel and Conference Center is excited to celebrate, in 2010, some very special service anniversaries. This year five of our team members will be celebrating their 20th year of service with the hotel and our longest tenured associate her 25th. The Sheraton takes great pride in the success and loyalty of these team members and is truly excited to share in their impressive achievement. Celebrating 20 years of service at the Sheraton are Engineering Manager, Stephen Caruso; Banquet Server, Thomas Post; In-Room Dining Attendant, William Bratcher; Bell Captain, Daniel Sullivan and Banquet Manager, James Karpinski. For one of these associates there is another important milestone we are pleased to recognize. 2010 will mark the 50th year that the Sheraton’s Bell Captain, Daniel Sullivan has been in the hospitality industry; a career that began in 1960 working at the Somerset Hotel in Boston, with his father who was also a Bell Captain.
On February 20th the hotel will celebrate the 25th year of service of Loriann Salter, the hotel’s Laundry Supervisor. Loriann joined our team in 1985 in the role of chambermaid, better known today as a room attendant, and in 1997 Loriann assumed her current role of Laundry Supervisor. Over the past 25 years Loriann has been a truly valuable member of the Sheraton Burlington team, winning multiple employee of the month awards, safety awards and sharing her time and experience on multiple hotel committees.
