The Vermont and the New Hampshire Valley Region of the American Red Cross announces the appointment of Michael Sullivan to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer. Sullivan will be responsible for supporting Red Cross chapter operations and volunteer engagement at each of the three chapters across the 12,000 square mile region that covers all of Vermont and the upper valley of New Hampshire.
A Vermont resident for over thirty years Sullivan has held a number of management positions with public utilities in Vermont and across New England. Most recently he was Vice President of Operations for New England Gas Corp. in Rhode Island where he also served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Rhode Island Chapter of the American Red Cross.
