Barbara Ziter has joined Wells River Savings Bank as the Bank's Operations/Deposit Accounts Specialist.
Barb has more than 20 years experience in banking and has worked in retail banking as a teller, customer service representative and IRA specialist. She has completed several courses through the American Institute of Banking and Center for Financial Training. Her specialties are Health Savings Accounts, all types of Individual Retirement Accounts and CDARS.
" I am excited about joining the Wells River Savings Bank Team and having the opportunity to bring my knowledge of IRAs and HSAs to both staff and the community. “I look forward to assisting and growing our IRA and HSA deposit base", said Ziter, "at a time when people are looking at ways not only to cut costs but also to save, it is a great time to be looking at both retirement and medical expense savings."
Barb grew up in Saint Johnsbury, VT and lives in Waterford, VT, with her husband, Herb, of 32 years. She is active in the Northeast Kingdom Youth Services Mentoring Program and assists with organizing a fundraiser for tuition assistance to the Good Shepherd Catholic School in memory of her son, Jeff.
