Six partners at Langrock Sperry & Wool, LLP have been named in the 2009 edition of New England Super Lawyers. The Super Lawyers include: Mitch Pearl (named in the field of Civil Rights/First Amendment law), Lisa Shelkrot (Criminal Defense), Christopher Davis (Family Law), David Conard (Real Estate) and Beth Robinson (Workers Compensation). Eric Knudsen was named a Rising Star in the area of real estate law. Each year, no more than 5 percent of Vermont attorneys are named Super Lawyers, and just 2.5 percent become Rising Stars.
Super Lawyers is a listing of outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Polling, research and selection are performed by Law & Politics magazine. The Super Lawyers lists has been published since 1991. The Rising Stars program was founded in 1998 and recognizes the top up-and-coming attorneys who are 40 years old or younger, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less.
