The National Association of REALTORS (NAR) awarded Bill Martin their Green Designation. NAR’s Green Designation is the only environmental real estate designation for REALTORS® recognized by the National Association of REALTORS. Martin is the first REALTOR in the Champlain Valley and northern Vermont to receive it.
Close to one-half of all greenhouse gas emissions are produced from buildings. Green building isn’t just responsible; it’s necessary. Both consumer demand and government policy are making this happen and shaping the future of real estate. After receiving the designation, Mr. Martin stated, “I am proud to be joining the green movement and leading not only my business in this direction, but also assisting my clients in making more sustainable real estate choices for their needs and for our community.”
NAR's Green Designation is a real estate designation designed for residential, commercial and property management professionals looking to green their businesses and their lives. Mr. Martin received this designation on June 19, 2009 after completing NAR’s Green Designation Core Coursework and NAR’s Green Designation Residential Elective Coursework.
