Jennifer Wool has joined Lund Family Center as Chief Development Officer . She is responsible for managing fundraising, marketing and public relations for the 119 year old organization that annually serves more than 4,000 Vermonters in its workto reduce child abuse and neglect, strengthen children and families and create new families through adoption.
A Burlington native and graduate of the University of Vermont, she holds a master's degree in Administration and Management from St. Michael's College. She previously served as an Account Supervisor for a VA-based marketing agency representing St. Jude Children's Hospital, United Nations Association and American Library Association helping those organizations grow membership through strategic marketing campaigns and special event management. Wool spent three years as the Marketing Director for programs at the American College of Cardiology managing marketing programs for a 35,000 attendee annual meeting and 35 national medical education programs.
Lund completed Phase I of its Capital Campaign in 2008 to renovate and expand residential programming space. Wool looks forward to leading the Center's Second Site Plan to consolidate childcare, education and adoption services under one roof. In the Spring of 2009, Wool supported the launch of a highly successful Mother's Day Bike Ride along with Lund's staff in conjunction with a first class event committee which netted $50,000 for the Center.
