ARC Mechanical project manager elected to ASHRAE

ARC Mechanical Contractors has announced that Michael R. Cook, a Jericho resident, has been elected to the office of Vice President for the Champlain Valley Chapter (Vermont) of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) for 2009 – 2010. Cook, a project manager and field engineer for ARC, has 26 years experience in the building and construction industry. Michael received his education at the University of Vermont and Vermont Technical College. He recently completed the Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP) exam in New Construction and Major Renovation. ASHRAE advances technology to serve humanity and promote a sustainable world through research, standard writing, publishing and continuing education.
