The Law Office of Deborah T. Bucknam & Associates P.C. in St. Johnsbury would like to announce that Robert A. Brazil is now an Associate with the firm. He joins us from New Hampshire Legal Assistance where he was the manager of the northern offices of NHLA in Littleton and Berlin, NH, supervising two other attorneys and a support staff of four. Brazil was at NHLA for eight years, and his practice there focused on housing, general assistance benefits and family law. He also conducted legal checkup screenings at senior centers, and helped organize the North Country Housing Forum. Prior to his work at NHLA, he worked at Gawryl and MacAllister in Nashua, New Hampshire representing clients primarily in family matters, personal injury, real estate and business formation.
He was admitted to the New Hampshire Bar and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire in 1998. Brazil will be admitted to the Vermont Bar in 2009. He is currently an active member of the New Hampshire Bar Association, Coos County Bar Association as well as the Grafton County Bar Association. Mr. Brazil will focus his practice in our firm on real estate, general civil litigation, business law and family law.
