VIT Worldwide Videoconferencing recently hired Stephen Schouten as Regional Manager for the Johnson, Middlebury, and St. Albans VIT studios. Stephen is taking over for John Sheets, who after 14 years as Regional Manager, was promoted to VIT Director of Technical Operations. Although Stephen will spend time at all three VIT sites, he will make the St. Albans site, located at the Bellows Free Academy, his main office.
Stephen brings extensive experience in television production, management and marketing. Stephen is a long-time Vermonter and a St. Albans resident who is familiar with the local area and needs relevant to VIT.
“I look forward to working at VIT. It is now more important than ever for Vermonters to save time and money, not to mention the environment. VIT is a travel alternative that does all that,” Stephen remarked. “In addition, my position at VIT will allow me to use my experience in television and marketing to help education, nonprofits, government and business further their goals.”
Tara Lidstone, VIT Executive Director said, “We are pleased that Stephen has joined the VIT team. His technical expertise and exceptional customer service skills will be very valuable to this organization.”
