Promotions effective for the 2008-2009 academic year at Saint Michael's College were announced at the Academic Convocation held on campus last month. Faculty members promoted to full professor are as follows:
Dr. Valerie Banschbach of Jericho, professor of biology, who earned a doctorate at the University of Miami
Dr. Adrie Kusserow of Underhill, professor of anthropology, who earned a doctorate at Harvard University
Dr. Susan Ouellette of Ferrisburgh, professor of history, who earned a doctorate at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst
Dr. Patricia Siplon of Burlington, professor of political science, who earned a doctorate at Brandeis University
Faculty members promoted to associate professor are as follows:
John Devlin of Waterbury, associate professor of fine arts, theater, who earned an MFA degree from Syracuse University
Dr. Bret Findley of Burlington, associate professor of chemistry, who earned a doctorate at Dartmouth College
Dr. Traci Griffith of Cambridge, associate professor of journalism and mass communication, who earned a juris doctor law degree from Notre Dame Law School
Dr. Nathaniel Lew of Burlington, associate professor of fine arts, music, who earned a doctorate from the University of California, Berkeley
Dr. Declan McCabe of South Burlington, associate professor of biology, who earned a doctorate from the University of Vermont
