Macmillan III, CFA, has joined their Hanover office at 2 Maple Street as Senior Portfolio Manager and Market Strategist. Alec has over 30 years of equity investment experience, including serving as Senior Vice President and Head of the Large Cap Growth Group at Columbia Management in Portland, Oregon for sixteen years.
Just prior to joining Ledyard, Alec was Managing Director of Moody, Lynn & Company, an independent investment firm in Boston, and served as Senior Vice President of Welch & Forbes in Boston. He began his investment career at Merrill Lynch in Boston after earning his BA, cum laude, from Harvard College in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Alec earned his MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and received his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1985.
