JSC names new coaches for men’s soccer and women’s lacrosse

Johnson State College has hired Iain Manson as JSC’s new head men's soccer coach and Mike Fuller as head coach for the college’s new women's lacrosse program.

Manson is the director of operations at Vermont Premiere Soccer and coaches several teams at club level, including the 2013 Vermont state champion Nordic Soccer Club U-13G premiere team. He holds a licenses with the U.S. Soccer Federation, the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and the Scottish Football Association. Prior to joining Vermont Premiere Soccer, Manson was the academy director and head premiere coach at Maine Premiere Soccer.

Fuller spent two years as assistant women’s lacrosse coach Mt. Holyoke College, where the team won the 2013 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) tournament championship. Fuller will spend this year recruiting for the new varsity team at JSC, which will begin competitive play in fall 2014, marking the eighth college in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) to offer women’s varsity lacrosse. Fuller holds both a bachelor’s and a law degree from Suffolk University and works as a senior claims representative for Plymouth Rock Assurance Corp.
