Vermont Teddy Bear Company welcomes new employees

In November of 2011 Kristin Meeker joined Vermont Teddy Bear Company as a seasonal Universal Gift Counselor. In August of this year Meeker transitioned into a core employee.

James Langeway started seasonally with The Vermont Teddy Bear Company in January of 2008 as a Universal Gift Counselor. In the years following he also worked seasonally in maintenance, shipping and warehouse positions. In August of this year Langeway was made core as a Maintenance Technician.

Amy Pearl joined The Vermont Teddy Bear Company in August of this year as the Merchandising Coordinator. Pearl is responsible for assisting the Merchandising Team with the organization and dissemination of product information with the databases and systems. Prior to joining the Bear Crew Pearl worked as a Marketing Coordinator for a producer of interactive software for children with disabilities.

In August of this year Candice Bryan-Broe joined The Vermont Teddy Bear Co. as a Divisional Inventory Control Liaison. Bryan-Broe manages all functions which include inventory item file setup, maintaining product descriptions and availability, and accelerated tracking procedures during peak periods. She will also gather, enter and prepare monthly hard good and supply inventory numbers for all locations. Prior to joining the Bear Brew Bryan-Broe worked as a receptionist.

Lily Poduska joined The Vermont Teddy Bear Co. sister company Calyx® Flowers in September of this year as the Merchandising and Product Development Assistant. Poduska will be responsible for providing support and assistance to Calyx® Flowers Merchandising and Product Development Department. Prior to joining Calyx® Flowers Poduska worked in Boston as an Artist Manager with a Production Company.

Kyle Ugalde joined Vermont Teddy Bear Company as a seasonal employee working with the Customer Relations department in January of 2010. In April of 2011 Ugalde was made core as a Customer Relations Specialist. In September of this year, Ugalde moved into the Inventory department as an Inventory Control Liaison.

Emma LaGoy joined Vermont Teddy Bear Company in November of 2006 working in the Customer Relations department. In 2009 LaGoy transitioned into the Inventory department. Within that department, LaGoy has held the Retail Inventory Coordinator position, Divisional Inventory Control position and in September of this year she transitioned into the Inventory Control Supervisor position.

Mel Bone started with The Vermont Teddy Bear Company in January of 2005 working in the Retail department as a Bear Shop Coordinator. In December of 2006 Bone transitioned into the Inventory Department. Throughout her time with the department she operated in many roles working her way up to Inventory Control Supervisor. In September of this year Bone transitioned from Inventory Control Supervisor to Merchandising Coordinator as part of the Marketing department.

In October of this year, James Leclerc joined The Vermont Teddy Bear Company as the Warehouse Distribution Specialist III. Leclerc will perform all daily warehouse distribution tasks and transportation responsibilities. Prior to joining the Bear Crew, Leclerc was a Line Supervisor with a manufacturing organization where he monitored and trained multiple employees.

In October of this year, James Mullin joined The Vermont Teddy Bear Co. as the Maintenance Technician II. Mullin will perform maintenance service and repairs at VTB in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machines servicing, electrical and vehicle servicing. Prior to joining the Bear Crew, Mullin was a Mechanic at a vacation resort.

Jennifer Charbonneau started seasonally working with The Vermont Teddy Bear Company in November of 2011 as a Gift Fulfillment Specialist. In October of this year Charbonneau moved into a Core position with the Arts and Embroidery department as a Personalization Operator Level 1.

In October of this year, Hayden Senesac joined The Vermont Teddy Bear Company as a General Maintenance Worker within the Facilities department. Senesac will perform general manual labor tasks including painting, loading, unloading, recycling cardboard, lifting and moving materials. He will also provide ground maintenance in all seasons. Prior to joining the Bear Crew, Senesac was an Assembler/Packager with a manufacturing company.
